+3 Arts Programme

Saswat Degree Mahavidyalaya offers +3 Arts with an approved intake of 192 seats. The programme is designed to provide a strong foundation in humanities and social sciences, with a focus on critical thinking, communication and holistic personality development.

Eligibility:

Pass in Higher Secondary (+2) Arts/Science/Commerce or equivalent examination recognised by CHSE, Odisha or any other recognised Board.
Students must fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Government of Odisha and the affiliating University.

Subject Combination:

Core & Elective subjects as per University syllabus and NEP guidelines.
Ability Enhancement and Skill Enhancement courses as prescribed.

+3 Commerce (B.Com.)

+3 Commerce Programme

The college offers +3 Commerce with an approved intake of 128 seats. The programme aims to develop strong conceptual and analytical skills in Accounting, Finance, Business Studies and related areas.

Eligibility:

Pass in Higher Secondary (+2) Commerce/Science/Arts or equivalent examination recognised by CHSE, Odisha or any other recognised Board.
Admission is governed by the rules of the Government of Odisha and the affiliating University.

Highlights:

Focus on practical aspects of Commerce, Accounting and Taxation.
Exposure to ICT-enabled teaching-learning and project work.

Admission Procedure (SAMS, Odisha)

Admissions to +3 courses are conducted through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) of Government of Odisha. Applicants are required to complete the online Common Application Form (CAF) within the stipulated dates published in the official SAMS portal.

Visit the SAMS Degree portal and register using a valid mobile number and email ID.
Fill in the Common Application Form (CAF) and choose Saswat Degree Mahavidyalaya, Jarasingha as one of the preferred options.
Submit the CAF online and take a printout for future reference.
On publication of the selection / merit list, report to the college within the specified dates with all required documents.
